OWNER & FOUNDER
Ty is the founder and owner of Autumn's Harvest Kennel. He has been working with dogs since he was a young boy and has a deep passion for training, breeding, and hunting with gundogs.
Autumn’s Harvest Kennel was officially started by Ty Haws in 2020 at the age 12, but his journey started long before that. Having grown up on a farm Ty was exposed to dogs his entire life where he quickly discovered his love of dog training. His passion and dedication to the dogs are evident throughout this operation. From the kennels that are built from dead Ash trees he logged on the farm to the heated kennel floors, every aspect of care can be seen.
Autumn’s Harvest Kennel is in Romulus, NY near the shores of Cayuga Lake. Being in the Finger Lakes allows the dogs to hunt and train in just about every weather condition imaginable. They can easily go from hunting ducks in rough lake waters to happily sitting next to you on the couch. Trained to have an off-switch, when Figgs and Jujube are not working, they spend much of their time inside, recharging and bonding with Ty and his family.
Ty has already claimed several dogshow titles with Figgs & Jujube and strives to produce some of North America's best-bred and best performing Deutsch Drahthaars in the years to come. We are especially looking forward to our litter coming Autumn 2025.
